Our mission is to warmly welcome newcomers and neighbors, cultivate friendships, and encourage active participation in the life of our community. Through social events, shared interests, and local involvement, we bring people together and help transform new residents into lifelong neighbors and friends.
The Newcomers & Neighbors Club is designed for individuals who have lived in our community for three years or less. We aim to help new residents build friendships, discover local resources, and establish meaningful connections. We also welcome longtime residents who are looking for new opportunities to engage, meet others, and become more involved in the community.
Our club is open to anyone who values friendship, participation, and a strong sense of belonging. Whether you're new to the area or simply looking to expand your social circle, you'll find a welcoming community ready to connect. Learn more here.

Salida Newcomers & Neighbors is open to individuals over the age of 18, who have moved to the Salida area within the past three years or residents who are seeking new opportunities to connect, engage, and build relationships within the community.. You can Join Here online, by mail, or at our quarterly club meetings.
The club meets quarterly, time and place TBD a in June, September, December, and March.
Prospective members may visit one quarterly meeting at no charge. Participation in events, socials, and activity groups is open to paid members only.
Our first meeting will be held on June 25th at 4 - 6 pm at Soggy Surfer
